Portable indicated that he would have preferred a collaborative musical project with Burna Boy instead of receiving a ₦20 million gift. He believes that such a collaboration would have provided a more meaningful and enriching experience.

Nigerian street-hop artist Portable has expressed that he would have preferred a collaboration with Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy instead of the N20 million he received as a gift. He emphasized that a feature with Burna Boy would be a lifelong achievement, while the money is something he could easily spend.

Over the weekend, Portable announced that Burna Boy gifted him the significant amount following his victory in a celebrity boxing match against fellow entertainer Speed Darlington. Taking to Instagram on April 21, Portable praised Burna Boy for his generosity but voiced his disappointment that Burna Boy has not responded to his messages since the gesture.

Portable stated, “Shout out to Burna Boy. Some people want to wash my brain with advice. This man inspired me with the N20 million. However, the person who gave me that amount has never replied to me on Instagram; I don’t have his number, and he doesn’t pick up my calls.

“I tried to chat him, but he didn’t respond. Burna Boy, you gave me N20 million, but you never replied. Please, give me a feature. Why are you not responding to my messages?

“He isn’t following me on Instagram, yet he gave me money. He is my helper, but a collaboration would mean more to me because the N20 million could be gone in a day. If I collaborate with the person who gave me N20 million, I will go viral.”
