Kuami Eugene recounted several instances where he expected acknowledgment for his work, only to find himself overlooked once those songs achieved commercial success. He stated, "There are many songs I've written that I assumed would lead to rightful recognition, yet I still found myself sidelined afterward.” He hinted that some of his contributions, if mentioned, would surprise many, pointing out that not being credited for his work is a significant issue.

Initially, the artist chose to ignore these instances of oversight, but his stance has since evolved. He revealed plans to take legal action against artists who neglect to attribute song credits appropriately, referencing Mr. Drew as one artist he has confronted over this issue. Eugene noted, “I’ve decided to take a firmer approach now. It’s important to clarify contributions. For every project, decisions should be made transparently regarding credits, and my legal team will ensure this is addressed.”
